Last week, Daniel, David and Estela attended the International cellular Senescence Association Conference 2019, which took place at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA), Greece. During the meeting, Daniel gave a talk entitled "Effects of chemotherapy-induced SASP in lung cancer progression", explaining how we have demonstrated that certain platinum-based chemotherapeutic treatments can have detrimental effects through the induction of senescence
